Here’s what you need to know about PRP.
Sculptra vs. Threads. What's the difference?
Sculptra is a unique type of injectable known as a collagen stimulator. Instead of just adding collagen stimulating medicine to an area, Threads have a dissolving nylon suture that gives immediate support and structure like traditional fillers. Sculptra and threads work together by stimulating your skin's natural collagen production over time to provide optimal results.
Here’s what you need to know about Sculptra.
How often do results last?
Threads will start to dissolve the nylon suture around 2 months and what is left is a medication similar to Sculptra which is a permanent solution for long lasting collagen production. Regular maintenance treatments can help sustain the results over time.
What is the downtime? Can I go back to work after my treatment?
Treatment requires minimal downtime. So you can return to your daily routine immediately after you leave our office.
Are there any other side effects I should know about?
Minor side effects are typically brief and mild, such as swelling or bruising at the injection site, tightness or in most cases, hypo- or hyperesthesia may be temporary and self-resolving. Some experience “zingers”, or “quick shocks”, with exaggerated movement in the area treated, this is completely normal, and is caused by the threads.
